Lead Activity & Tasks

The Activity and Tasks is one of the most used features within Property Shell. 


It will show you updates such as when a lead was added, edited, or deleted. You can also see when a lead has been contacted, and the outcome of the interaction. The activity feed is a lead-driven list of recent events in chronological order. This includes any notes that have been added as well as updates like lead owner changes, date created and source. You can easily keep track of the status of your leads because the activity feed gives you a complete picture of a lead's history. By choosing one of the leads on your list, you can access the Activity feed.



Manually Adding Activities To Your Timeline 

This is where you can see all of the logs for the lead. You will see here where the lead is coming from when it was created, last active, its status, and in which project this lead has an interest. This will also show you your notes, emails sent, SMS sent, Call history etc.


To add an Activity, follow these steps:

  1. Expand the Sales menu item from the left-hand side menu and then click the Leads.
  2. Select a lead that you want to manage.
  3. After selecting a lead, click Activity
  4. In Timeline click the + button



You can choose from:

  • Activity - Set the label then add the date and time.
  • Call - Select the Call Outcome from the dropdown then add comments, date and time
  • Email - Set the label then add the date and time.
  • SMS - Set the label then add the date and time.
  • General Note - Set the label then add the date and time.
  • Internal Note - Set the label then add the date and time.
  • Send SMS -  Select the number(s), Set the Sender ID, You can add multiple recipients if needed. You can also select a                         Template or just put in the message. You will have the option to Include Opt-Out Clause. Then                                       click Send.
    Recipients will see this Sender ID rather than a number. Leave blank to allow direct replies.


Tasks

This function allows you to create tasks for yourself or follow-up reminders depending on your desired date. 


To create tasks, follow these steps:

  1. Expand the Sales menu item from the left-hand side menu and then click the Leads.
  2. Select a lead that you want to manage.
  3. After selecting a lead, click Activity
  4. In Tasks click the + button



Add New Task

  • Task - Set the label
  • Due Date - dd/mm/yyyy
  • Status - Open, In Progress, Completed, On Hold, Cancelled
  • Owners - Select from the dropdown the owner of the lead
  • Priority - Low, Normal, High
  • Tags
  • Description


Task List

To view your task list, click on the "Tasks" button in the top right-hand corner of your platform. From there, you can view your tasks, mark them as complete, and add new tasks.
