Key Reporting Features in Property Shell
Property Shell offers a suite of powerful reporting tools that cover nearly every aspect of development marketing and sales. You also have the flexibility to create custom reports from scratch or by editing any of the standard templates.
How to access Reporting
Access reporting via the 3 dots in the top right corner of the Property Shell window. Please note that Reporting is not available through the Property Shell mobile app.
Standard Templates
From marketing and agent activity to financial reports and stock management, the standard templates cover 99% of your reporting needs. These templates can be used as-is or customised to meet your specific requirements. They provide quick access to critical data or serve as the foundation for creating your own custom reports.
Sales Summary
A visual breakdown of the sales pipeline, showing sales status by quantity and dollar value. Includes detailed sales history, sales by organisation, by person, by bedroom type, purchaser type summary, and overdue deposits.
Leads and Marketing
Displays enquiries over the last 7 days, 6 weeks, and 6 months. Includes lead locations, lead profiles, and recent lead activity.
Agent Activity
Shows agent activity over the past 7 and 60 days, including calls, emails, updated leads, booking appointments, reservations, sales, and more.
Project Report
Includes a financial summary by type, bedrooms, and stage, along with a complete sales list.
Settlement Report
Provides detailed settlement data, including valuation differences by valuer and settlement statuses.
Stacking Plan
A visual representation of your project, helping you track units by sales status, type, and many other categories.
Sales Activity
Offers comprehensive insights into the sales process, tracking lead-to-sale conversion, agent performance, and key milestones.
Stock List
A detailed list of all properties, including current availability, pricing, and other relevant details.
Financiers Report
Covers reports related to your financiers, including financing details and outstanding payments or approvals.
Open Defects
Displays all open defects within properties, highlighting unresolved maintenance or construction issues.
All Defects
A comprehensive list of all defects (open and resolved), with additional details on each defect's status and history.
Generating a Standard Report
You can generate a report from one of the standard templates using the following steps:
Click the report you want to generate
Choose a project, or leave blank to pull data from all projects
Filter by stage if required
Click Create Report
Choose to Download the report or Add To Saved Reports
Find your report in Saved PDF Reports

Build a Report from scratch using Report Elements
Create a new template
Select from the Report Elements on the left hand menu.
Click the + button to add an element to the report. For this example, I’ve added a Title Page.
Adjust the settings of the newly added Report Page by clicking the gear icon beside the Report Page.
Adjust the Report Settings by clicking the gear icon.
Customising and Creating Your Own Reports
Custom Templates
If you need a report beyond the pre-built templates and Report Pages, Property Shell allows you to create custom templates. You can start with any of the pre-built templates and modify them, or create a completely new one from scratch.
Dynamic Tables
Custom Table
A flexible table format that enables you to display any data available within Property Shell. While it doesn’t support charts or graphs, it’s ideal for organizing large datasets in a clean, tabular format.

Advanced Pivot Table
This tool allows you to visualise large datasets and summarize information in various formats, including tables, line graphs, stacked area charts, and stacked bar charts. You can select from base tables like Bookings, Leads, Sales, Activity History, and more to create highly customised reports.

Saving and Managing Your Reports
Once you've customised or created a new report template, you can save it for future use. Simply click the save icon in the top right corner of the Template Builder. Your saved templates will appear under User Templates, allowing you to quickly access and reuse them for future reporting needs.
You can also use the print icon to create a PDF of your report or to print preview.
By offering pre-built templates, customisable report pages, and dynamic tables, Property Shell enables you to create detailed, data-driven reports that help you make informed decisions.
